Today I marched against the Industrial Relations reforms that our PM is introducing. I can't help but notice a pattern here. The imminent introduction of VSU (voluntary student unionism) and now these IR reforms that suck the blood out of our rights. Students, workers who is next? Once again johnny is trying to give more power and profits to the elite in society at the expense of ordinary citizens (as if they didn't already control and own enough of the worlds resources). Shouldn't people come before profits, not the other way around? Find out more about your rights at work by clicking here.

Today my family celebrated the life of my grandma, who passed away on All Souls day 2/11/05. I will miss her dearly and I thank her from the bottom of my heart for her jam doughnuts, yummy trifle, fruit jelly and icecream, spaghetti bolognaise, her roast dinners and all her love! She was born in Egypt in 1917, spoke 6 languages and moved to England before migrating to Australia. She was an extremely generous, prompt, honest and proud woman. I hope to be as great a grandma as she was to me one day!
